Mad Dash Sushi

Recently, I've begun an incredible journey into exploring more flat design (found in Digital Design). I noticed they were all focused on food - so for a new project I've decided to pick something fun like sushi - Sushi to Go (small brick and mortar take out and catering spots situated within high tech corporate complexes)! This concept was an idea I had back during my undergrad studies which I presented in Advertising class.

With the changes in the marketplace of food heavily influenced by large popular tech companies like Google, obtaining licensing of these yummy restaurants,  it poses an interesting design and business development challenge -- what will it be? A food truck, licensed out cafe, or rented out space in a crowded food area close to these companies?

Here are the steps I've taken in building out the concept and planning of the business, as well as the layout design and branding. I'm also choosing to further challenge myself by combining design element combination that traditionally do not partner with one another. But why not break the rules of traditional convention and try something new? Additionally, the core project is to build out a menu for this sushi business. However, I am considering including other announcements to illustrate the story of this business. One of which is an app to engage regulars and save them money!
